Guest Notes
From The Host
My love for Palm Springs began long before I ever visited. Every year, my grandparents would drive from Michigan to attend the Bob Hope golf tournament, returning with albums of sun-soaked photographs and stories from the desert. Whenever I asked what made it so special, my grandma would simply say, “It’s just a feeling.”
Years later, after moving to California, I finally visited over the Christmas holiday. As the mountains came into view, I rolled down the window and felt the warm, golden breeze at sunset—the magical hour when the desert begins to glow. In that moment, I finally understood exactly what she meant.
I dreamed of creating a little escape from Los Angeles—a place to slow down, read, write, and feel inspired, while still being close enough to dance the night away downtown. Over the years, Palm Springs has given me space to grieve, heal, laugh, celebrate, and reconnect with myself.
I spent more than a year thoughtfully creating this retreat, choosing every detail with care. Perhaps that’s why guests often say it feels less like an Airbnb and more like a home. It brings me so much joy to share this special place and give others a beautiful space to create memories of their own.
